Genesis 18.1 And יהוה appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamrĕ, while he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day.

Jasher 18.1-5: And Abraham rose and did all that YAHWEH had ordered him, and he took the men of his household and those bought with his money, and he circumcised them as YAHWEH had commanded him. And there was not one left whom he did not circumcise, and Abraham and his son Ishmael were circumcised in the flesh of their foreskin; thirteen years old was Ishmael when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. And in the third day Abraham went out of his tent and sat at the door to enjoy the heat of the sun, during the pain of his flesh. And YAHWEH appeared to him in the plain of Mamre, and sent three of his ministering heavenly messengers to visit him, and he was sitting at the door of the tent, and he lifted his eyes and saw, and lo three men were coming from a distance, and he rose up and ran to meet them, and he bowed down to them and brought them into his house. And he said to them, If now I have found favor in your sight, turn in and eat a morsel of bread; and he pressed them, and they turned in and he gave them water and they washed their feet, and he placed them under a tree at the door of the tent.

John 3.1And there was a man of the Pharisees, Naḵdimon was his name, a ruler of the Yehuḏim. 2This one came to יהושע by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim, for no one is able to do these signs You do if Elohim is not with him.”3יהושע answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above, he is unable to seea the reign of Elohim.”  4Naḵdimon said to Him, “How is a man able to be born when he is old? Is he able to enter into his mother’s womb a second time and be born?” 5יהושע answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he is unable to enter into the reign of Elohim. 6“That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. 7“Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You have to be born from above.’ 8“The Spirita breathes where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.” 9Naḵdimon answered and said to Him, “How is it possible for this to take place?” 10יהושע answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Yisra’ĕl, and do not know this? 11“Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what We know and witness what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12“If you do not believe when I spoke to you about earthly matters, how are you going to believe when I speak to you about the heavenly matters?
