Introduction: The Science and Spirit of Sublimation
With this article I propose the notion that if the human soul undergoes the full process of spiritual sublimation—elevating its base impulses through self-mastery, physiological purity, and heavenly alignment—then the individual will awaken the state of unified, or Yechidah, consciousness and embody the status of a child of Elohim.
In the circles we grew up, sublimation was never a word we heard spoken. Interestingly though, it was exactly what our circles needed for indivdiual, family and community completion and unity. The dictionary defines sublimation as:
The process by which a solid transforms directly into a gas without becoming liquid first.
Now take that beyond chemistry. Think about the spiritual and psychological implications relative to our being. What if the soul could bypass the murky, emotional swamps of trauma, lust, rage, and fear, and ascend straight into pure light and heavenly identity? That’s the aim of the Transfiguration Movement: to teach our people the art and science of becoming heavenly.
As was discussed in my previous article, sublimation is what happened to Yeshua on the mount—when the coarse clay of the body gave way to the shining brilliance of a Son. It’s what happens when lower desires get transmuted into spiritual fire. And it all begins with one question: Will I master myself—or be mastered by the world? This is the question that Cain was asked prior to him murdering his brother.
The Art of Self-Mastery: Becoming the Masterpiece
Self-mastery isn’t an everyday conversation; nor is it popular. It is, however, prophetic. To master yourself is to become a living artwork—sculpted by discipline, aligned by divine law, and illuminated from within.
Proverbs 25:28 says,
“He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.”
Self-mastery is the art of sculpting your soul into the image of Elohim. It is both art—requiring intuition, beauty, and balance—and discipline—requiring precision, training, and constant refinement.
According to Proverbs 16:32:
“He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.”
Ruling the spirit is greater than conquering nations. Why? Because when you conquer the inner city of your impulses, you become qualified to govern righteously in the world outside.
From a psychological lens, self-mastery is rooted in executive function—a set of cognitive processes including emotional regulation, delayed gratification, impulse control, and mental flexibility. In neurobiology, these are linked to the prefrontal cortex, the seat of future planning, morality, and willpower. When a person consistently practices self-control, they strengthen neural pathways that make divinely-aligned behavior more effortless over time.
Scripture confirms this in 1 Corinthians 9:27:
“But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.”
In Hebrew culture, mastery always involved body, soul and spirit. The Torah wasn’t just a list of rules—it was a blueprint for cultivating holiness from the inside out. Yeshua, our Great Master and High Priest, modeled this art of perfect obedience and alignment:
“I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.” (John 8:28)
This level of obedience wasn’t weakness—it was willed submission to divine frequency.
To attain this level personally, I am currently going into the 6th of a 90 day sacred experiment—one I call my sublimation journey. This is not just a fast. This is not just semen retention. This is a conscious offering of my lower self on the altar of divine transformation. I have refused to ejaculate, not because of shame, but because I’m learning the art of rechanneling my essence—physically, emotionally, spiritually—back toward its Source.
Even in this short amount of time, this journey has not been without warfare. I came into it carrying the scars of fatherly abandonment, a gnawing void in my chest from the absence of masculine presence. As the firstborn grandchild on my mother’s side, I was coddled, celebrated, and overindulged in ways that made me emotionally dependent on external validation. Add to that an early and unsolicited introduction to pornography, which distorted my wiring for intimacy and robbed me of my right to innocence. I learned to equate pleasure with performance, and release with worthiness.
But now I understand: what was stolen can be restored—but only through discipline.
As will be discussed in more depth, the semen is not merely fluid—it is soul, seed, and spiritual scroll containing the code of life. Within it is encoded memory, mission, and Messianic potential. Every emission is an act of creation or desecration. Every drop holds the code of Adam, and retaining it is a way of returning to the divine blueprint—tzelem Elohim, the image of Elohim.
At this point, there’s a wellspring in my belly, a focused fire behind my eyes. I can feel the early movement of the sacred current—the Ruach Elohim—beginning to stir within. My thoughts are clearer. My attention is sharper. I’m more present, more aligned. There’s a certain buoyancy to my spirit, as if the weight of old habits has already begun to lift.
The battle isn’t over. Temptation still whispers. But I am anchored.
For me, this isn’t just a challenge—it’s a covenantal promise. A personal pact to honor the essence that Elohim encoded in me from the beginning. In just these few days of intentional semen retention, I’ve already noticed how the drive that once led me to impulsive outlets is now becoming the very force that’s sharpening my vision and pulling me toward my higher self. I feel more like a son of Elohim than ever before.
Because this is the art and science of sublimation—elevation, the ascent to perfection in fulfillment of the Words of the Master, “be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5.48.
As I’m practicing self-mastery, I’m learning to ride the wave of divine energy rather than drowning in it. I’m tapping into the wisdom of our sages and seers. In Tikkun HaBerit, Eli Talberg explains that guarding the brit—our sexual covenant—is not just about abstaining from sin, but about retaining light. Even a single day of commitment draws divine assistance, and by day six, the soul has already begun to respond to the discipline with clarity, calm, and power.
Scripture says,
“The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?” (Proverbs 18:14)
My spirit is being nourished strengthened daily; I feel it. This isn’t just willpower—it’s Ruach power. The power that hovered over the deep. The power that filled Bezalel with skill and wisdom to build the Tabernacle. The power that raised Yeshua from Sheol. That same Spirit is now breathing life into me—guiding, correcting, and lifting me into alignment with the Anointed within.
I now recognize that father wounds are portals. They lead us either to destruction or to dependence on the Abba who never left. My abstinence is not a vow of denial but a declaration: I will no longer waste my life force or inheritance. Like the prodigal son, I am returning—not to be a servant, but to claim my place as a son.
All this I’ve been able to perceive just in just six days, the numbered day when Adam was brought forth, and I already know I’m going the full 90. But more than that, I’m going beyond the 90. This isn’t just a countdown; it’s a call-up. I’m not holding back anymore. I’m stepping in. I’m becoming. I’m remembering who I am.
A child of Elohim.
A keeper of the brit.
A flame of fire in the earth.
A symbolic man of things to come.
And so, I welcome you into this sacred movement—not a trend, not a teaching, but a Transfiguration of the soul through the sublimation of the flesh. Let us become again what we were always created to be—light-bearers, vessel sanctifiers, and sons of the Living Elohim.
This is the Transfiguration Movement, and I’m living it—one focused, faithful day at a time.
The Five Levels of Soul: The Internal Ladder
Intellectually, I know that mastery starts in the body—the temple. Manifesting this reality is the challenge. But in order to illustrate this word more clearly, I refer to the Hebrew the word for soul, “nefesh”, which also means “throat,” symbolizing appetite and craving. Being flesh and blood, I know all too well that most people, including myself up to now, never move beyond this level of soul. We live in the throat; hungry, thirsty, needy, craving, addicted, afflicted.
But sublimation teaches us how to lift our desire upward—from Nefesh (senses) to Ruach (the moral spirit), from Ruach to Neshamah (divine mind), until we ignite Chayah (the living essence), and finally attain Yechidah—the indivisible union with the Most High.
- Nefesh (נפש) – The life-force in blood. This is the base, our physical reality, tied to the world of Asiyah (action). Govern your body here—clean food, clean thoughts, clean habits.
- Ruach (רוח) – The moral wind. Emotions, conflict, conscience. Linked to Yetzirah (formation). This is where we battle our own demons.
- Neshamah (נשמה) – The higher intellect. Wisdom, Torah, and revelation live here. This corresponds to Beriyah (creation), where we begin to create reality with speech and intention.
- Chayah (חיה) – The life that sees Elohim. Deep intuition. Alignment with the will of Heaven. This lives in the dimension of Atzilut (emanation).
- Yechidah (יחידה) – The One. This is when the soul no longer identifies with the “I” but with “I AM.” This is where transfiguration becomes inevitable.
Sublimation and the Four Worlds of Consciousness
Kabbalah’s Four Worlds are not just cosmic dimensions—they’re states of consciousness through which we must ascend.
| World | Meaning | Soul Level | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Asiyah | Action | Nefesh | Master the physical world—eating, rest, movement, sexuality. |
| Yetzirah | Formation | Ruach | Master your emotional reactions. Practice forgiveness, stillness, praise. |
| Beriyah | Creation | Neshamah | Create a new identity with sacred speech and mental discipline. |
| Atzilut | Emanation | Chayah/Yechidah | Perceive the One. Here, the self dissolves in divine unity. |
In Isaiah 43:7, Elohim says:
“I have created him (Beriyah) for My glory; I have formed him (Yetzirah); yea, I have made him (Asiyah).”
This isn’t random poetry—it’s a progression of consciousness. A sublimation blueprint.
It begins as divine intention expressed in the architecture of the soul—and it continues in the circuitry of the body. Just as the four Kabbalistic worlds chart the descent and ascent of consciousness, so too does our physiology mirror the path of return. The inner terrain of the human form is encoded with the same sacred pattern. What was once mystically veiled is now being physiologically revealed.
Now, let us consider the inner mechanics of this transformation.
The Physiological Key: Sacred Secretions and Divine Oil
George Carey and Inez Perry’s God-Man: The Word Made Flesh reveals the physiological side of this divine ascent. It teaches that the body, when purified through upright living and clean intention, produces a sacred secretion from the clostrum (brain cavity), which travels down the spine as a “Christ seed.” If preserved and raised back up the kundalini path—called the Jordan River in spiritual symbolism—it anoints the pineal gland (the Mercy Seat) and awakens the pituitary gland (the Seat of Wisdom).
This fusion of sacred physiology and divine parable centers in the solar plexus, the great nerve center behind the stomach—known in ancient traditions as the “sun center” of the body. This is where the sacred seed, what Carey and Perry call the “Christos,” is formed each lunar month when the moon is in one’s birth sign. The seed is bread from heaven, divine manna, created in the Beth Lehem of the body—Beth meaning “house” and Lehem meaning “bread.” The solar plexus is the true Beth Lehem, the House of Bread, where the spiritual child—the anointed potential of every human being—is conceived.
In this sacred center, the fire of the sun merges with the Earthly vessel, giving birth to the solar child, the divine spark of Messianic consciousness. But that birth is only the beginning. For the child to mature, to rise and reign, the vital oil must be preserved, not spilled. This is the essence of Tikkun haBerit—the rectification of the covenant—a call to sacred stewardship of the body’s creative energy. As Eli Talberg outlines in his booklet, this path requires vigilance, repentance, and the return of thought and action to holiness. It is a war against the fragmented self and a re-covenanting with Elohim.
Furthermore, when the oil is retained, transmuted, and consciously guided back up the spinal column—the Jordan River—it undergoes a sacred ascent through the chakras or sefirot, ultimately anointing the pineal gland, also known as the “Single Eye” that Yeshua spoke of in Matthew 6:22: “If your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light.” This is no longer just a metaphor—it is the transfiguration, the actualization of heavenly sonship, the restoration of Eden within. This secretion becomes the oil of the Messiah—a literal biochemical manifestation of anointing.
This is the art and science of sublimation: taking the gross and refining it into light; turning seed into flame; transforming man into a child of Elohim.
Psalm 133:2 compares this process of returning to unity and holiness to as:
“precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard…”
Not metaphor. Reality. This process is the true anointing: not pouring oil on the head, but allowing the soul to sublimate the oil within the head and transfigure the body into a temple of light.
Practical Exercises for Sublimation
To begin the work of sublimation:
- Semen/Ovum Retention – Preserve the sacred seed. Abstain from masturbation and casual sex. Convert and transmute that energy.
- Nasogastric Breathing – Inhale deeply through the nose, filling the diaphragm. Practice rhythmic breath to harmonize body and soul.
- Cold Showers & Fasting – Activate inner fire and stimulate glandular function.
- Chant and Tone – Use Hebrew root sounds (“Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey”, “Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh”) to activate vibration in the pineal zone.
- Sacred Study – Meditate on Torah, Psalms and Witnesses daily. Internalize divine speech.
Conclusion: Welcome to Our Return to the Path of Sublimation
This is what was seen on the Mount of Transfiguration. Yeshua didn’t glow—He burned. His body sublimated into light. And Moshe and Eliyahu appeared not from another realm, but from the higher octave of the same soul continuum. They were witnesses to the final phase of human development: heavenly sonship.
Psalm 2.12 says:
Kiss the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish along your way—since His wrath may flare up suddenly. Happy is everyone taking refuge in Him!
We receive Him not just by belief—but by embodying the same sublimation He walked in.
The Transfiguration Movement is not a church, nor is it a trend. It is, rather, the ancient path of transformation—returning the soul to the throne from which it fell. This is both art and science. It is the science of sublimation and the art of self-mastery. Together, they unlock the divine code within you.
As mentioned in the introduction, sublimation refers to the scientific physical process by which a substance moves from solid directly to gas, bypassing the liquid phase. Spiritually, this describes the process by which the soul bypasses the pull of base emotional states and habitual flesh-driven behaviors, transforming directly into higher consciousness and spiritual illumination.
In psychology, Sigmund Freud borrowed this term to describe the redirection of primal drives—particularly sexual or aggressive urges—into socially acceptable, creative, and spiritual pursuits. When channeled correctly, these raw energies can fuel works of art, music, poetry, invention, and divine expression. This inner redirection is the essence of self-mastery.
As was highlighted earlier in this article, sublimation, in Kabbalistic terms, is the transition from the lower nefesh (animal soul, rooted in the liver and blood) to yechidah (the unified soul that dwells in direct knowledge and union with Elohim). The process of spiritual ascent—akin to Jacob’s Ladder—is one of sublimating each level of soul and reorienting it toward divine service.
The Apostle Paul put it plainly:
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2).
In Hebrew, the word for “transformed” is shana (שנה), which shares a root with “change,” “repeat,” and “learn.” Transformation happens through repeated spiritual labor, discipline, and intention.
This leads me back to something at was stated earlier in the article when I said that Yeshua burned on the Mount of Transfiguration. What I meant by that is He no longer operated from the lower density of nefesh, his physical nature. His cellular structure, endocrine system, and neural light circuits were vibrating at such a high frequency that they manifested visible light—“His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light.” (Matthew 17:2)
And then there appeared Moshe and Eliyahu—not ghosts, but transfigured masters—souls who had also completed their internal ascension through the practice of Torah, prayer, fasting, faithfulness, surrender, and the embodiment of the Shekinah Presence of Elohim. Their presence confirms the science of sublimation alluded to in the mystical texts of Israel—that the soul, when purified and raised, no longer needs to die; it ascends.
Thus, the Transfiguration wasn’t just an event. It was a template, a blueprint, a mission.
It shows us that sublimation is not only possible—it is the inevitable result of sustained self-mastery and heavenly alignment, akin to planetary configuration and cosmic harmony. This is how dust becomes divine.
So as I close this writing, I say to you now:
If you’re tired of being ruled by the flesh…
If you’re ready to activate your glandular light…
If you believe there’s more than just belief…
If you believe that now is the the time to become…
Then welcome to the Path of Sublimation, the first step we are to take in the Transfiguration Movement.

Selah…

This journey from sublimation to transformation will be experienced differently for each participant & may present overwhelming challenges for some…Are any group/individual support services available for those seriously desiring to take on this journey?🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

That’s a great point and a great question, ima. As of now, there’s not an organized group for support, but we are our greatest allies and must band together in support of our journies; individual and collective. We do have the Whatsapp rooms for support and encouragement and can utilize the rooms for such matters. We can certainly organize this matter to become reality and I’ve certainly planted a seed for this to germinate and bloom. I know you’re willing to be a support and assist, and I, for one, will reciprocate…BLESSINGS!!!
