Totality (a poem)

In you
I can see
my reflection

even with my
eyes closed
hundreds of
miles apart
I AM
still able
to feel the grips
of our oneness…

and though
there are necessary
seasons for
resistance
I now know
the time has
come to let go…

Of fears
doubts
errors
the past
the future
the self
and embrace
with full
TOTALITY
the
Here
and
Now

The present is
a gift unrivaled
wrapped in
hidden
time
which
elapses
eternal
existence
intertwined
with hearts
that speak
only
Love…

And I feel you
Woman
like a memory
reawakened
consuming
my thoughts
with a familiar
Newness
that I await
rising with
every Dawn
until there
remains
no more
darkness
just the light
emitted
from the
impulses
of passion
we spark
even without
touching
one another
bcuz our
bond is
Transcendent…

For infinite
lifetimes
I’ve sought
to realign
with your mind
and now that
we are here
Present
I relish every moment
we are given
to forgive
our ignorance
and negligence
for being
premature and
giving birth
To the pain
that shaped
the inner child
that we will
Heal
Over
And
Over
And
Over
And
Over
until the image
and likeness
of our Creator
is reborn
in these
two hearts
aflame
with the
power
of
the
Son…

And so
I am told to
proceed
with purpose
and to be
mindful
of
patterns
both old
and those
we will create
in order
to erect
a structure
unshakeable
like the Kingdom
planted
within
our being
dormant
but awaiting
Resurrection
for the perfection
of humanity
bcuz this
Beloved
Is bigger than
just our souls
as there
are worlds
to redeem
and lives
to return
and lessons
to both
Teach
and
Learn
so that
the holy fire
of Love burns
endless
like the
breath
we will breathe
into one another
quickening
our spirits
so that our children
know the legacy
of longevity
that they
were promised
to inherit
from our
ancestors
who saw
this very
Union
and gave their
blessings to
knowing
full well
that the
Totality
of this eclipse
will bathe
the earth
in the
melanin
meant
to manifest
the very
reflection
of heaven
on earth
forever
and
ever.
